For Search and Rescue Team Members needing an excellent Winter Waterproof Hi-Visibility Bomber Jacket, but are on a limited budget, this is the perfect jacket. Though not the expensive Gore-Tex material, this jacket has natural ventilation openings under each armpit that can be unzipped to allow ventilation. The jacket is 100% waterproof and includes a hood.
This Waterproof Bomber Jacket is called an 8 in 1 Transformer Bomber Jacket. It has 8 different configurations. From a full zero degrees waterproof insulated bomber jacket with a hood, the inside fleece liner unzips and removes. The sleeves unzip and come off and this jacket can be worn as a hi-visibility summer vest. No matter what the weather throws at you, you are covered with this wonderful jacket.
In the last 7 years, we have outfitted 25 different Search and Rescue Teams from California, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Texas and Virginia. The backs are lettered SEARCH AND RESCUE, and the individuals name on the right front.
This listing can be used to order a single 8 in 1 Transformer Bomber Jacket. The price, $146.50 includes $97.00 for the jacket, $14.50 for lettering SEARCH AND RESCUE on the back, $5 for lettering your NAME on the Right Front of the jacket, $7.50 Minimum Order charge they charge me, $8.50 additional shipping charges as the website will only charge $8.50 and it costs $17 to ship a 4 lb jacket. Available sizes: Medium to 6X. These jackets run small, as a general rule, order at least one size larger than you normally wear. It really is critical to get the size correct. Are you a member of a Search and Rescue Team of at least 15 members? You have two options. If you live within 300 miles of Southern California, we will come to your monthly meeting and present our jackets for you to try on and ask any questions. Please call my number below for more information. If you live outside of the 300 mile range, please call me, I will ship an assortment of our jackets free of charge to you to have at your monthly meeting. Your only obligation is to pay the postage and return the jackets to me in good condition.

As a Search and Rescue volunteer, the Majestic 8 in 1 hi-vis bomber jacket is well made and I really like the multiple configuration options. As the SAR Director for our animal rescue here in the San Jacinto mountains I am called upon to track, recover and reunite lost domestic dogs. I was recently asked to assist authorities with searching for a lost elderly man and his dog. I found my winter gear somewhat lacking. I have been deploying with a SAR Canine for 23 years and space for supplies and equipment gets limited. I purchased the Waterproof Hi-Vis Winter Bomber Jacket hoping it would serve as my heavy jacket, light weight jacket, and a rain jacket. I have used this item on a limited basis but already it has proved to be a great buy. I have used it with and without the lining and also have been training during two rain days. It was great not having to return to the vehicle just to don the rain gear. I also purchased the rain proof gloves to match my yellow jacket. I did order one size bigger than I normally would and it fits as I hoped it would.

Thank you Tom. I used the jacket this weekend. I have not done a lot searches in a residential neighborhoods. When I have I got a lot of angry people yelling at me if my gps had me of course and In a yard I didn’t have permission for. I can completely understand that. If some one came walking across more property I might be upset as well. In a park or large wooded area you don’t get those conflicts so I tend to choose those lost dog settings. A friend asked me to do a search in a neighborhood setting this weekend. While my dog is a certified working dog trained in tracking I am a volunteer not a professional. I certainly do not want to project a local law enforcement look but just an orange jacket with search K9 on the back made my day a world easier. People actually stopped me and said if I needed to search their prop I could and they would put pets away and give me full access. So I was warm, comfortable, visible and something I didn’t expect, supported instead of being yelled at
as we searched. My dog has saved the lives of several lost pets, often days or weeks after they went missing. Sadly I did not find the dog but I reported to the owner I tracked a scent trail to the neighbor house. The neighbor confirmed the dog was there but left. This was a 4 day old search and heavy rain dispersed the scent to a point I could no longer ground track. Very, very happy with the jacket. Thank you for your outstanding customer support.
